Step 1: Download the Font
1. Find a Font:
Search for the desired font online or use a font you have already downloaded.
2. Download the Font File:
Make sure the font file is in .ttf (TrueType Font) or .otf (OpenType Font) format.
3. Save the Font File:
Save the font file to your iPad. You can use the Files app or a cloud service like iCloud Drive,

Step 2: Install the Font
1. Open Files App:
Open the Files app on your iPad and navigate to the location where the font file is saved.
2. Install the Font Using a Font Manager App:
Download and install a font manager app like iFont or AnyFont from the App Store.
Open the font manager app.
In the font manager app, locate and import the font file. Follow the app’s instructions to install the
font.
3. Install the Font Profile:
Once you have imported the font into the font manager app, you will need to install it as a profile
on your iPad.
The font manager app will guide you through the process. Typically, this involves tapping on the
font you want to install, and then selecting the “Install” option.
A pop-up will appear, directing you to the Settings app to install the profile.
4. Approve the Installation:
Go to the Settings app on your iPad.
You will see a notification that says “Profile Downloaded.” Tap on it.
Tap Install in the upper right corner.
Enter your iPad passcode if prompted.
Tap Install again when prompted, and then tap Done.
Step 3: Use the Font in Goodnotes
1. Open Goodnotes:
Open the Goodnotes app on your iPad.
2. Create or Open a Document:
Create a new document or open an existing one where you want to use the new font.
3. Select the Text Tool:
Tap on the Text Tool (the ‘T’ icon) from the toolbar.
4. Add a Text Box:
Tap anywhere on the document to create a text box.
5. Change the Font:
Select the text box and tap on the Font option from the toolbar above the keyboard.
Scroll through the list of fonts to find the newly installed font and select it.
6. Type with the New Font:
Start typing, and your text will appear in the newly installed font.
